Brillant Design

Pros:
Easy to Install, Lightweight, Easy to Use, Stable
Cons:
Locking cables are short
Best Uses:
Large Cars, Mountain Bikes, Carbon frames
Great design that rides well behind the car. Other racks are too long or hit the road easily. This one is shorter, lighter, and slants up to give much better ground clearance. Much lighter and less cumbersome than the others I have tried.

Very good bike rack. 9/10

Pros:
Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Stable
Cons:
Best Uses:
Large Cars, Road Bikes, Mountain Bikes
This is a very solid bike rack. A few observations: 1: Very easy to build/install. Probably 10-15 minutes. Compared to other hitch racks, it's by far the easiest to install. This is a very nice/convenient feature, but not make or brake b/c you should only have to do it once. 2: Fits hitch fairly well - limited wobbling. It's not perfect, but doesn't wobble as much as other racks. No rack brand has perfected this, but it is the best I have seen (experience: thule, kuat). 3: Obviously, nothing touches the frame of the bike which is one of its best features. And it's easy to install bikes. I'm very pleased with this rack. Pretty light, 4 bikes fit easily, limited wobbling.

Cons:

Excellent. Used it to drive from Chicago to Asheville, NC and is worked perfectly. I love that it holds the bikes in place without touching the frame and without the bikes rubbing against each other.

SO EASY TO USE AND LOAD - LOVE IT

Pros:
Easy to Use, Durable
Cons:
Best Uses:
Made in the USA - GREAT PRODUCT. First to the folks that are having a difficult time with the nut assembly that goes inside the hitch. All we did is stretch the metal slightly apart by hand so it stays snugly in place when you install the hitch. I have had my Freedon Super Clamp 4 for 3 months and have enjoyed the ease of loading our bikes. I am a shorter woman, so loading onto previous racks was awkward and hurt my shoulder lifting up to the high loading bars. The lower loading bar allows you to keep the bike in your power zone for easy loading and unloading.

Hard to beat

Pros:
Stable, Easy to Install
Cons:
Best Uses:
Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes
I've been using this rack now for about 3 months and it's really great. The two arm design makes it to where the bikes won't bounce against each other, but is extremely easy to use. I'm not going to go crazy into details, so here is the readers digest version. What I love: 4 bike capability. Even with bikes of differing wheel sizes it works great. Secure mounting of bikes with little interference. Easy to use ratcheting arms give feedback to make feel secure. Distance of bikes from back of vehicle just right to make getting in and out of car easy (may vary on vehicle and hitch options) Things I think could use improvement: Cable locks, they seem just a bit too short and makes it a little difficult to use. Hitch mount, single bolt is simple and works but I think could be refined to be more secure. Pivot system, folding into the up position isn't always a smooth affair. Maybe having the release lever able to move up or down would be nice to allow for one handed operation as well.

Unbeatable versatility

Pros:
Stable, Durable, Easy to Use, Versatile
Cons:
Hard to assemble
Best Uses:
Mountain Bikes, Small Cars, Road Bikes, Large Cars
Super nice, versatile rack. Set up is a bit tough and you need the right tools, but once the rack is on the car, you'll never have any problems. I have so much confidence that my bikes will always be on the car whether I am driving or parked. The individual locks for each bike are so nice and easy to use. When you do get the freedom superclamp, buy it through your local bike shop and have them install it for you if you are not confident in assembly yourself (especially if getting the fat tire holders). #sweepstakes

Super compact and sturdy 4-Bike rack

Pros:
Stable, Easy to Install, Compact, Lightweight, Durable, Easy to Use
Cons:
Built in locks could be longer
Best Uses:
We use the Freedom Superclamp 4-bike rack for our family's bikes. It works well with various sizes of bikes loaded on it. Other racks we have had in the past haven't worked well with 20" wheels. The installation was quick and straightforward. It is lightweight and easy to take on and off. We are very pleased with how secure the clamps ratchet down on the bike wheels. One of the features that makes this rack stand out over other brands is how compact it is. The rack doesn't stick out nearly as far as other 4-bike racks do when it's down. It is almost as compact as other brand's 2-bike racks. The only thing to be aware of is how intentional you need to be when loading the bikes. Pedal placement must be chosen carefully so you don't put the pedals from one bike into the adjacent bike's frame. When folded up towards the vehicle it doesn't cover the rear window.

I am a Year round cyclist and Triathlete living in Canada! The rack is on my vehicle 24/7; even through the extreme Canadian Winter! It has stood up like no other rack I have used! It is a great rack to fit anything from kids bikes, to road bikes, to fat bikes with the accessory tray and even triathlon bikes! I would recommend this rack to anyone looking to transport bikes! The tilt feature is awesome! Locks are handy and easy to use; no more forgetting your lock at home! It is amazing to have the option to transport up to 4 bikes; makes group rides and commutes much easier!! YOU NEED THIS RACK!

Pros:
The Best, Durable, Cool & Awesome, Easy to Use, Stable, Easy to Install
Cons:
Best Uses:
Mountain Bikes, Large Cars, Road Bikes, Anything with a 2" hitch receiver
Dear Saris, our team LOVES your bike rack!!! It got a lot of use and abuse this last year as we drove thousands of miles to race (it even survived being backed into some stone walls...oops!). We've had a lot of hitch-mount racks over the years and this one is TOPS in our book! Other cyclists always come to check it out and we tell them they HAVE to get one! It is SO easy to use, and with an integrated lock, we feel safe traveling with $50,000 worth of serious carbon and metal strapped into it! Thanks for making a great product that serious cyclists can count on. Love from Team CS Velo Racing #csveloracing p.s. we love our #cycleops too!

Great Rack!

Pros:
Durable, Easy to Install, Stable, Easy to Use
Cons:
Best Uses:
Bought this for the 2016 road season and haven't been disappointed at all! The rack is the best one to avoid touching the bike frame. I don't worry at all with its stability and can fully trust this rack to hold my teams bikes, and trust me they didn't come cheap! Would recommend to anyone who needs a really reliable rack.

Super Freedom Super Clamp!

Pros:
Cons:
Best Uses:
Excellent product. Me and the lady travel every weekend to races and events and often need both road and cyclocross machines to go with us. This rack has added fun into packing and unpacking our equipment! So easy to drop our bikes and go...no more front wheels off, tetris the suv. We can add another rider on race day, or take 2 road and 2 CX to all our far away destantions. We have all carbon bikes and nothing comes in contact with the frames. Bikes our super stable. We just drove from Chicago to Nashville to going down in a snowstorm and returning in a rain storm, bikes were well protected and traveled like champs on this rack! It should be called the Freedom Super Champ!

Terrible design, not stoked at all

Pros:
Cons:
Best Uses:
I feel that this rack falls short in a number of ways. First off, the hitch tightening system. It is simply a nut welded to a u shaped piece of metal that slides into the end of the rack before it goes into the receiver. However this does not keep the hitch tight from moving up and down only side to side. Also it will just fall out, either sliding into the hitch receiver or into the rack itself. Next, where the rack tilts either towards or away from your car, the hinge that allows the rack to do this is very loose allowing the back half of the rack to rattle independently . Meaning your bikes will rattle and bounce around no matter what. They wont rattle inside the rack but the whole rack will move around. The overall metal construction seems ok, but all of the plastic pieces feel cheap and you will have to adjust the wheel trays every time you put a different bike on because the trays don"t pivot. Made in the USA does not make up for terrible design and cheap plastic. The plastic strap system is a joke I got a great discount on this rack and I still don"t want it. I honestly feel that the good reviews for this rack on here, are from people that don't know any better and have not used superior racks in order to compare. Lastly, I am from Wisconsin, and wanted to support a company born and bred there, however the product falls well short of my expectations and I cannot justify keeping.
